The disastrous pride of Anowa In life there is place in the middle of teenagers and adulthood where numerous choices that are caused will to at last direct the way of life. There are times when a choices is made it prompts an incredible life and different occasions it prompts a ruinous way only not for one individual yet influences everybody around them. In the tale of Anowa the principle character Anowa is in where each choice she makes prompts a defining moment in her life that sets the snare for an extraordinary end. Anowa’s pride prompts her fall and causes people around her extraordinary torment. To start with, Anowa being an odd lady who will not get hitched and when she at long last decides to get hitched the man whom she picks isn't fitting of her mother’s desires this is the fracture that begins the fall of Anowa. In the Global Crossroads World Literature Badua reveals to Anowa that â€Å"Marriage resembles a bit of cloth†¦ and like material; its excellence goes with wear and tear† (Iglesias, Mays, and Pierce103). The fabric connotes quality and magnificence of a marriage yet without the best possible thought and care it won't last. Badua attempts to disclose to her girl that what may look great today later on may not be so charming and may tear separated in time ; but since Anowa’s pride she answers to her mom â€Å"I like mine and it is not your issue to worry about. I couldn't care less, Mother. Have I not disclosed to you this is to be my marriage and not yours?†(Iglesias, Mays, and Pierce103). Anowa’s assurance to finish her ch oice is by all accounts simply like numerous youngsters today who won't hold fast to the voice of their mom and in spite of the fact that the choice they make might not be right they would prefer to be difficult than to concede that reality of their m... ...ave kids, yet the entire time he was the explanation they couldn't have youngsters. Rather than letting sleeping dogs lie she says, â€Å"Now I know. So that is it. My better half is lady now and she giggles† (Iglesias, Mays, and Pierce155). Anowa prideful mentality has lead to the passing of her better half, herself and the distress of her mom and father. She slaughtered his masculinity as well as made him end it all. Taking everything into account, each choice Anowa made lead to her grievous death and pride was the leader of each choice she made. The life of Anowa demonstrated how pride is childish, obstinate, and disregard. Anowa couldn't perceive how her mentality decided her elevation. Had she figure out how to be mild and indicated worry for other people, she would have not cause herself and different s distress and passing. Anowa life shows a significant exercise that pride will just prompt a damaging way.
